Online services guide

You can view your savings and mortgage account(s) via our online services in the comfort of your own home. The best bit? It’s secure, safe and confidential.

How do I request my login details?

All you need to do to view your accounts online is provide us with both your mobile number and email address. We can then issue you with a temporary password via SMS and your User ID via email. You can request these details by popping into your nearest store, or by calling our Customer Contact Centre on 0345 601 3344.

How do I register for online access?

Complete these four simple steps to register for online services for your existing account with The Cambridge:

  1. Request your User ID and temporary password in store or over the phone
  2. When you receive your temporary password and User ID – visit cambridgebs.co.uk and click the ‘login’ button (top right-hand corner).
  3. Once you’re logged in, you will be asked to set a new User ID, create a new password, and enter a memorable question and answer
  4. Lastly, you will be asked to complete a two-factor authentication. This is a security feature so you can be comfortable no-one else can set up your login details other than you. To complete this, simply choose where you would like the security code sent to (mobile or email) and then confirm this on the screen.

Helpful registration requirements:

User ID requirements:

The User ID can be a name or word that is memorable to yourself, and can be reset at any time either online, in your nearest store, or via the telephone.

Password requirements:

The password will need to be between 8 – 16 characters and contain a capital letter and a number

Memorable word requirements:

The memorable word will need to be between 6 – 16 characters with no space in the word. Memorable words aren’t case sensitive.
